California Casita One Bedroom Cottage Home Construction Drawing Set
Each Drawing Set for all of our models will include the following sheets:
- Cover Sheet – Cover Sheets contain a rendering of the plan model, the sheet index and other miscellaneous notes. It will all have blank space for local notes as required.
- Structural Drawings – Structural Drawings include the Foundation Plan & the RSG3D Panel Plan with engineering details and calculations.
- Floor Plans – Floor Plans offer a plan view of the design with the names and dimensions of all the room. It also shows the location of equipment and fixtures.
- Exterior Elevations – Exterior Elevations are technical two dimensional drawings showing each side of the building. Exterior finish information and height is included here.
- Sections – Sections are drawings depicting a slice through the building. They are very useful in showing detailed construction information
- Enlarged Plans – Spaces like Kitchens and Bathrooms need additional information that is best provided at a larger scale.
- Details – Details are smaller drawings in a larger scale, typically showing waterpoofing methods and miscellaneous construction requirements.
- Schedules – Our drawing set includes plumbing fixture schedules, lighting fixture schedules, equipment schedules, cabinet schedules and countertop schedules. They are typically left generic to allow for future finish choices, while still providing the information required by the local building department.
- Electrical Plan – This plan will include the location of all electrical devices, including the lights, switches, outlets, smoke detectors and panels.
